Performance for Amplified Crystal Wine Glasses, Glass Flute, and Glass Speakers (2024)

Performed live at Gallery 16, San Francisco on homemade speakers created from panes of tempered glass, an amplified constellation of wine glasses of my own devising, and glass piccolo.

"Quiver" Installation for Paper Loudspeakers (2024) uses wound copper wire and powerful earth magnets on either side of stretched and adorned watercolor paper to create precarious art objects that function both as paintings, percussion instruments, and loudspeakers.

Ambrosia Salad (2023) is a mixed-media stop-motion short film created with filmmaker Yoko Kurotani using Burmese puzzle figurines under the collaborative name "C.C. Lemon".

Xani-Doo (2021) is a tribute to three of my favorite artists: Olivia Newton-John, John Oswald (the godfather of plunderphonics), and D.J. Screw. Xanadu (1980) was one of my favorite movies growing up and I have made countless versions of the title track.

Improvisation for Keyboards and Glasses 10.2.21 is an experiment in looping acoustic and electric sounds in live performance. Wine Glasses are struck with wooden sticks and accompanied by Casiotone M-10 and Arturia Minibrute. Cover art by Milo Moyer-Battick

Improvisation for Keyboard 8.9.21 (for Carrick) was performed on the 16th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and the death of my brother Carrick Herb. A simple song for my brother.

Sonata for Balloons and Candy (2019) was recorded at the Center for New Music in SF and was the first work I composed as the sole performer. Written in sonata form and involved a mukbang of over 2lbs of candy as the video component. Equal parts ASMR and tooth decay.
